My Story
I am a retired teacher, married to my true love and other half of my heart for 47 years, mother of 3 children, grandmorther to 7 of the most fabulous grandchildren God ever created, and a Scentsy Independent Consultant. I love my "job"!
So why am I a Scentsy Consultant? When I first retired, I had the 3 youngest grandchildren who needed some babysitting, so I did. But they have grown and are now in school all day. I needed something else. Plus, it never hurts to have some extra money, does it? So I talked to my daughter-in-law and said, "Sign me up. I can do this!" That was over 9 years ago, and I have enjoyed just about every single minute of it (no job is perfect, but this is as close as I have ever found). There will always be times when I just don't feel like working. That is perfect for Scentsy, because I am the boss! While I am the one who decides if I get a day off, honestly, it doesn't happen very often. Did I already say, "I love my job!"
The core values of Scentsy are "Simplicity, Authenticity, and Generosity", and these are values that are modeled from the top down. Our owners don't just tell us about these values, they live them. What a great company to be associated with! No product is put on the market for you, the consumer, unless it has been tested and tried out by home office staff and/or the owners themselves. If potential products are found to be less than top quality, they will not reach you, our friends and customers. It's so much easier to share the beauty of Scentsy with pride and confidence, when I have a corporate staff like that behind me and the products they offer. Besides all of that support, I truly love the products.
